Description
This is the most influential floating water city project in the Dawan District of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. The basic unit is a concrete prefabricated body with a length of 150 meters and a length of 30 meters.
The Floating city is far from the mainland and has a well-developed internal and external transportation system. Among them, the sea transportation facilities include a cruise port terminal serving large cruise ships, a marina for small yachts, and a dock for civilian submarines. The internal transportation is mainly public transportation, and the transportation is submarine and electric manned cabin. It is different from the traditional land-based city where the automobile is the main mode of transportation, avoiding the pollution of the automobile exhaust to the atmosphere. The main traffic is solved by water and underwater waterways. Residential areas, farming, garbage collection centers, etc. have been designed around the city. There are two green belts in the water city, one on the water and the other on the bottom. The water surface provides a public space for exercise and breathing fresh air, and underwater for a recreational trip.
Floating city will provide world-class facilities and additional land use to meet the long-term needs of human settlement. Environmental issues such as noise and waste will be solved with innovative strategic models. Our proposed development and related infrastructure design will have a positive impact on society and the economy. The design will meet the needs of long-term infrastructure and sustainable development, while also bringing new opportunities for education, recreation, employment and business activities to create a vibrant, diverse and sustainable society and economy. platform. The project participated in the 2017 Shenzhen Biennale Outer Exhibition.
